Urban Freight Lab

Students in the UW Master of Supply Chain Transportation & Logistics degree program can learn from advanced research by the cross-sector Urban Freight Lab (UFL), an innovative partnership between private industry, academic researchers, and public transportation agencies working together to design, test and evaluate solutions for freight management in cities.

The Urban Freight Lab serves as the University of Washington’s dedicated research hub for urban freight and city logistics. It focuses on addressing urban freight challenges amidst explosive ecommerce growth, surging transportation emissions, and the pressing demand for improved equity and safety outcomes in communities across the country.
